I live, work, and occasionally paint in Baltimore, Maryland. When I find the time to fit painting in around the other parts of my life, I’m usually drawn to subjects near at hand. When I lived near the water, I painted water surfaces. When I had a garden to tend, I painted flowers. I like to paint outside, so there’s a few plein air pieces as well.
The diversity of subject matter and styles represented in these works is reflective of my life over a period of many years—sometimes impressionistic and exuberantly colorful and sometimes studied and calm. I wonder what’s next… ; )
